Lily Tomlin reprises her Tony Award-winning role in The Search for Signs of Intelligent Life in the Universe, written and directed by Jane Wagner. this production brings back a collection of characters whose interwoven stories - all tied together by Trudy the bag lady - entertain and enlighten in a dazzling parade that combines the outrageous humor, social commentary, and moving human drama that have become Tomlin and Wagner's hallmark.

On May 23, Center Theatre Group holds its first annual "evening OUT" benefit gala, starting at 5:30pm with a VIP dinner held at the Grand Hall of the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, followed by the performance. The evening concludes with a private post-performance martini reception, attended by Ms. Tomlin, in the Grand Hall of the Pavilion. Tickets for this event are $250 and $150 and can be purchased at 213-972-7276.

There are additional performances on Thursday, June 19, 26 and July 3 at 2pm.
