WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

A Director's Festival of One Acts: six weeks, six directors, six plays in repertory. Call for schedule.
Impromptu - Written by Tad Mosel and directed by Marc Cameron. A provocative treatment of a popular theme: How much truth and how much illusion does a person need to live a balanced life? What's your ratio? Do we even know? I do. Do you?
No Mercy - Written by Constance Congdon and directed by Faye Jackson. Winner of the Humana Festival 1985 Great American Play contest, the play deftly juxtaposes Robert Oppenheimer and the invention of the atomic bomb with 1980's fear of Armageddon, while exploring larger issues of faith and existence.
The Collection - Written by Harold Pinter and directed by Patrick Tuttle. A classic Pinter tale where a wife tells her husband about a man she's met. The husband chases after the guy running into twist after twist and not being afraid to throw in a twist of his own.
The Vanishing Act - Written by Richard Greenberg and directed by Giampiero Judica. A play about the journey of an upper-class dysfunctional family on the edge of reality, that attempts - through fairy-tales, hairbrush strokes, presumed murders and mysterious disappearances - to regain its own sanity and unity.
Dark Lady of the Sonnets - Written by George Bernard Shaw, adapted and directed by Peter Vance. This dark, farcial, moody comedy has been extensively retrofitted for use in the 21st century - exploring the nature of genius and its obligations, and the social consequences of divorcing performers from their audiences through artificial media.
Macbeth - A Rough Night - Written by William Shakespeare, adapted and directed by Adrian Sparks. Three supernatural creatures meet to play their game of fate...one man's choices destroy order and harmony in a primitive world...ambition, love, betrayal, murder...fate or choice?
Festival Passes are available for $30. Each pass allows you to see all six shows over three evenings.
