WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
The show follows the intriguing, sexually charged, dysfunctional lives of the ALMOST FAMILY. Wellington Almost is the star of a shocking and controversial Broadway show. He is the only one that keeps the family living extremely well, but his job is also ripping them apart. Betty Almost, his loving wife, is doing all she can to make their home "perfect." And finally his WILD, CRAZY and BRUTALLY HONEST younger brother Stanley, that lives in their house rent free but never seems to miss an opportunity to cause chaos and division. The Masks We Wear is a show that is mind boggling and will have you sitting on the edge of your seat, from beginning to end. It is packed with high intensity, comedy and drama. The story will make you experience EVERY EMOTION KNOWN TO MAN! Every time you think you figured out the next move, an intriguing twist will be introduced leaving you breathless and wondering what in the world is coming up next. The characters of the Masks We Wear will have you checking your own morals and values. It will have you wondering, what would you do if you've been unsuccessful for years and finally, you were offered an opportunity to live "The Good Life?" What if that success comes at the expense of your family? And finally, if someone you loved and admired greatly disappointed you by taking a job that you viewed as humiliating and degrading but it provided not only a means for them to take care of themselves but they could provide for you as well, would be willing to accept their assistance or would you rather struggle on your own? There is no right or wrong answer to any of these questions; they are personal choices. The Masks We Wear address these questions and many, many more. It's a guaranteed "experience" like none other. You will witness the pain and struggle of trying to achieve a dream, while trying to hold a family together and the tremendous battle between comfort and temptation. Come out with an open mind and embrace the play that is guaranteed to make you come back for more.
