WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
In the delightful comedy classic (U.S. debut in1948) by Jean Giraudoux, greedy heads of corporations hatch a scheme to drill for oil directly beneath one of Paris' most charming neighborhoods. That such a plan would disrupt the lives of thousands and destroy the beauty of the City of Lights forever does not seem to deter these greedy men in their lust for oil and francs.
