Shakespeare's Globe Theatre, once again the toast of London, is back for its third year at The Broad with this hectic and hilarious comic romp. Kicking off with an opening night gala, this crowd-pleasing farce of mistaken identity is "quick-on-its-feet, clear-as-a-bell, boom-boom-funny! (Guardian UK)!" To misquote the Bard, "Small cheer and great welcome makes a merry evening" with the Globe's premier Shakespearean actors swapping and doubling their roles as they careen across the Broad Stage in this first U.S. tour.
