The centerpiece production of the Santa Monica Playhouse 2007 New Year's Eve extravaganza, The Annual One-Time-Only New year's Eve Revue!, returns in June. The musical journey through the calendar year, with an all-new evening of songs, dances, comedy and other theatre and cabaret delights from the best and most beloved critically-acclaimed Santa Monica Playhouse productions past and present, played to sold-out houses December 31, 2007 - now audience will have two more chances to enjoy this collection of favorite songs and scenes from forty-nine years of Playhouse history. Featuring internationally acclaimed Actors Repertory Theatre performers Serena Dolinsky, John Waroff, Evelyn Rudie, and Chris DeCarlo, with cameo appearances by guest artists Mellie Ghaffari, Nima Ghassemian and Jackie Murray, the delightful family-friendly production is directed by Arthur R. Tompkins, with words and music by Evelyn Rudie and Matthew Wrather and musical direction by Linn Yahama-Hirschman. Costume design is by award-winning designer by Ashley Hayes, with lighting and sound by James Cooper.
