A Celebration of Pagan and Tribal myths by David LeBarron.
This short program of storytelling showcases Pagan mythology and the human spirit. It starts with the Pagan creation myth and is followed by two stories that invoke the power of words and magic. The final story of the evening is a Native American tale about Grandmother Wisdom that is interspersed with other tribal lore.
David LeBarron is traditionally known for his wide range of laugh inducing projects such as the acerbic Christmas musical, Bitches in Toyland, and numerous online spoofs like, Homewrecker Houseboy. David's comedy has always showcased the perseverance of the human spirit in ridiculous circumstances. David's last monologue show, The Chronicles of Steve, was called "very funny and GO!" by LA Weekly and "Smart and funny" by NYC Backstage.
This endeavor represents a more serious side to David than LA audiences have come to expect from this playwright, director, actor and producer. In this new work, David highlights his faith and spirituality. Using his own personal Pagan journey combined with his gift for storytelling he propels the audience on a journey of empowerment. He shares our place in the universe and all the joy that comes with that honor.
