"Other days," Mildred says, "are chock full of busy work. Psychiatric therapy. Occupational therapy. Recreational therapy. On Sunday, there's nothing--nothing. Time and space and us. Deprivation therapy. Boredom therapy." But this full-evening one-act play proves to be anything but boring as Mildred and Anna, confined to the psychiatric ward of a general hospital, confront each other, an infuriatingly silent new roommate, the emptiness of an institutional Sunday, and the pain that has brought both of them here.
