WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
After a wildly successful European tour, this special two-show engagement marks Staff Benda Bilili's Los Angeles debut. Cuban-influenced rumba, rhythm and blues, reggae, spectacularly customized tricycles, a handmade electric one-string lute, and an eclectic mix of other instruments all play essential roles in the sound and story of this group of Congolese musicians affected by polio.
