Sherry Netherland lives by the philosophy, "Don't be self-abusive, just be self-amusive." By documenting every horrific and embarrassing moment in her life she has discovered that nothing so bad ever really happens to you as long as you get a really good story out of it. Sherry explores the convention of the RSVP, not being gay enough, hating to cook and other examinations of living life on the outside looking in. She also discovers some general truths along the way.
