In this farcical fantasy, the infamous Southern, known for some of the most popular and defining books and movies of his time (Easy Rider, Dr. Strangelove, Candy, The Magic Christian), has been trying to write about his own life and has hit a creative - and personal - wall. Adding to his distress are IRS agents foreclosing on his home, FBI agents digging for incriminating evidence, a hyper-sexual pervert son, a long-suffering girlfriend, a vitriolic ex-wife, and a dangerous pet sow in heat. His friends William S. Burroughs, Rip Torn, and the ever-manic "Professor" Irwin Corey arrive to celebrate Nixon's resignation, and he is faced with the realization that his life has become an outrageous, over-the-top vaudeville.
