WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
La Jolla Playhouse presents the world premiere of Palm Beach, with book by Robert Cary and Benjamin Feldman, music by David Gursky, and lyrics by Robert Cary. Des McAnuff directs.
This new musical offers a peek back at the 1930s with a refreshingly contemporary wink. A jilted New York showgirl tries to charm her way into a rich but hilariously dysfunctional Palm Beach family with all kinds of skeletons in their closets.

There are mistaken identities, lies, twins separated at birth, mismatched lovers, romantic entanglements, stolen jewelry, secret indiscretions revealed, etc.
The Fitch family, leaving New [...]
