The white comedy Pacific Daylight is the story of two women searching for home, love, and meaning in modern L.A. Kerri has a rewarding and meaningful job and lives with an adoring boyfriend. Despite these pillars of security and love, she finds herself wandering the city by foot, bus, train, truck, and bicycle searching for something other. While her best friend Cynthia survives inside a hardened cynicism, Kerri is fragile and idealistic. When Cynthia falls in love, she can no longer prop Kerri up as she once did. The painful discovery that the two women are no longer necessary in each other's lives leads both toward a more balanced way of living.
