WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
On An Average Day tells the story of two brothers, Jack and Bobby. Jack returns home after an 18-year absence to find Bobby living in the same rotting apartment where they grew up. Bobby is on trial for attempted murder, is hording a shower stall full of newspaper clippings and has something unsavory hiding in the fridge. And just where has Jack been for the past 18 years? On An Average Day is a tragic, twisted, moving portrait of two brothers haunted by their upbringing. Alternately sad and darkly funny, it is a riveting fable about the nature of abandonment and the redemptive power of family.
