By using the art of puppetry, the Mermaid Theatre of Nova Scotia magically enhances the art of storytelling. Mermaid Theatre has been adapting literary classics for more than three decade and in its first visit to The Center, the artists salute the work of celebrated children's author, Leo Lionni. Known for his whimsical texts and exquisite collage works, Lionni's fiction -- and The Mermaid's adaptation -- is a testament to finding art in everyday experiences.
