Written and performed by Debra Ehrhardt, MANGO MANGO is a humorous solo piece about a woman's childhood and eventual migration from Jamaica. Ehrhardt left the Caribbean at the age of 16 because she saw no future for herself if she stayed there. This 75-minute show strings together charming stories from her childhood leading up to her dangerous departure when she assisted an employer in the laundering of $1 million out of Jamaica with the unwitting help of an American CIA agent.
