For three years Magnum Opus, in various forms, has skewered the universe of bad screenplays on the Sacred Fools stage. Actual awful screenplays are condensed and performed live, word-for-word. They don't change a thing. It is mock-Masterpiece Theatre at its very best, or worst, complete with host Thursty Thurston Eberhard Hilsboro-Smythe, portrayed by Brandon Clark. With Thursty at the helm faithfully reading all the misguided stage directions, the highly skilled Magnum Opus Players try their best to make sense of these nonsensical, overwrought and ill-conceived scripts.
