Magnum Opus Theatre Presents: Every week, hundreds of untrained writers send their unsolicited, unregistered screenplays to Hollywood studios in the hopes that their story will be made into a feature film. Most never even get read... until now! MAGNUM OPUS THEATRE presents scrupulously faithful renditions of these terrible screenplays performed live on stage....Word for word...We didn't change a thing....Honest! All performances are Saturdays at 11:00 PM "Surf Dogs Unite" - July 28th, August 4th and 11th. A group of young Christian surfers square off against a Hell-bent biker gang in this tale of revenge, redemption and tasty waves. The ghost of a famous movie star becomes the guardian angel to an abused young girl, and guides her to fame in Hollywood. Weekly (GO) Since 2005, the Magnum Opus Players have sought to rescue works of dramatic genius from complete obscurity, misinterpretation or derision, and to bring them to life on the stage. Our mission is to seek out the hidden gems of those writers unencumbered by traditional training, and through the crucible of theatrical interpretation, present the raw and powerful essence of their work in a format which the authors' may not have originally intended......often involving drinking games.
