A modern day teen idol and a late 19th century child vaudeville star rise and fall hard in this modern fable. Played by twin actresses, their parallel stories tell a sad and often hilarious tale of and sexual exploits and Hollywood style exploitation. It is a brutal coming of age story as the two face a wall of fire moving from childhood to adulthood under scrutiny of lights, cameras, boy band boyfriends, theatrical men and an evil orphanage mistress.
