The Pasadena Playhouse celebrates its 2000 season with the West Coast premiere of Joe DiPietro's clever contemporary comedy, THE KISS AT CITY HALL. The creator of I LOVE YOU, YOU'RE PERFECT, NOW CHANGE and OVER THE RIVER AND THROUGH THE WOODS presents the story of Tony and Julie, Dave and Phoenix, two couples struggling to define and experience love and marriage in today's harried, cell-phone world. But the pictures they've been given by society's image-makers only complicate their efforts to experience true romance. Join them in this laughter-filled evening that is a perfect portrait of the confused, yet loving modern heart.
