Following a critically acclaimed run at Roundabout Theatre Company's Laura Pels Theatre at the Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre, the acclaimed production of Intimate Apparel, with original cast intact, transfers to the Mark Taper Forum in Los Angeles to conclude it's 37th Season. Daniel Sullivan directs. Lynn Nottage's critically heralded new play has been dressed up with the New York Drama Critics' Best Play of the Season Award, an Outer Critics Circle Award for Best Play, the John Gassner Award for Best Play, Drama Desk and Obie Awards for Best Actress for Viola Davis, the 2004 American Theatre Critic's Association's Francesca Primus Award, the coveted 2004 Steinberg New Play Award, the Laura Pels "Pen" Award and a Drama League nomination for Best Play.
