WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
The Ovation Award-winning Road Theatre Company presents Ignore the Tree: an evening of short plays. Of the three short plays, two are world premiers: "In the Shape of a Heart" by Dean Bruggeman and "4th Wall" by Taylor Woodbridge. The third short play is the United States premiere of "In the Blinking of an Eye" by Welsh playwright Jeremy Hylton Davies. Josh Gordon directs.
"In the Shape of a Heart" -- Each of four women share their journeys toward strength, independence and self confidence. In "4th Wall" (a farce), a soon to be engaged man runs into trouble with his refrigerator repair woman, his intended, and the audience. Two women of a certain age share a picnic "In the Blinking of an Eye" by Jeremy Hylton Davies.
