Santa Monica Playhouse announces a limited engagement
extension of the explosive new comedy-drama HOME OF THE BRAVE, written and performed by Andy Shreeman, a wild roller-coaster ride that explores the effects of a sexually driven American media system on its recipient culture. Toggling between serious drama and rollicking comedy, Shreeman's performance prompts audiences to consider-and reconsider-their social commitments in a
fractured, polysemantic Los Angeles. This 90-minute multimedia show is hosted by Bambi, the cherry red ex-hooker
turned business woman. The twist in this one-person show is the array of special guests, among whom audiences can expect: Orson Bean, Henry Phillips, Victoria Sellers, Dean Haglund.

Andy Shreeman has been writing and acting as a monologist for a decade, performing at Caroline's in Manhattan, HBO Workspace, and on Comedy Central. Last year's production of Dutchman at Theatre at the Improv with Andy in the producer's chair, is nominated for 4 LA Weekly Awards.
