WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Hey, Siren! I'm Burning! marks the fifth in a series of evenings of original writing presented at Santa Monica Playhouse by ManicMousecapades productions since 2003. The performers and writers include Playhouse veterans Juliet Berman, Margaret Boyle, Kirsten Rose O'Connell, Natasha Pettit, Sofia Siegel, and Graham Silbert. Hey, Siren!... weaves, monologues, scenes, poems, and performance art into a dizzying mélange of comedy, pathos, redemption, and tragedy that draws parallels, points out contrasts and blurs the boundaries between the emotional states.
