Musical Theatre West concludes its 52nd season with Guys and Dolls, starring Kevin Earley as Sky Masterson. The musical is based on a story and characters by Damon Runyon with music and lyrics by Frank Loesser and book by Jo Swerling and Abe Burrows. Considered by many to be the perfect musical, Guys and Dolls soars with the spirit of Broadway as it introduces us to a cast of vivid characters our of the world of Damon Runyon. This colorful and high-energy story of high-rolling crapshooters and their "dolls" features a fast-paced book and Frank Loesser's most memorable score including "Luck Be A Lady", "If I Were A Bell", "I'll Know" and "Sit Down You're Rocking the Boat". Nick DeGruccio directs, with choreography by Lee Martino with musical direction by Todd Helm. No matinee Saturday, 7/9. Additional performance Sunday, 7/17 at 7 p.m. (This is the only Sunday evening performance.)
