Plus size magazine cover model and stand-up comedian Vanessa Marshell questions ideals of feminine beauty in her one-woman show Got Phat? Tales of a Plus Size Model, directed by Cynthia Szigeti. Marshall, size 12, examines issues of body shame, appetite, and sexuality, as she gives the "dish" on the high fashion scene for "large and lovely" ladies. Often times, Marshall is told that she's "just not fat enough." She divulges her secret beauty tips for last minute wait gain. There are door prizes, and food will be served. Voluntary contributions are accepted, with all proceeds donated to Free Arts for Abused Children.
