WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
The Ahmanson Theatre welcomes a new version of this musical theater classic. This Broadway-bound production features an updated, revised book by Tony Award-winning playwright Peter Stone (Titanic, Annie Get Your Gun, 1776, Woman of the Year.) Finian's Rainbow features some of the most beautiful songs ever written for the stage. Finian McLonergan, an Irish Immigrant, hopes to strike it rich in America (and maybe even find true love for his daughter). This endearing romantic fable is laced with metaphor and pertinent themes for contemporary America and wrapped in pure delight.
