Jim Lunsford's Facing the Calm focuses on Jason Thalmedge, a man who doesn't ask for much besides financial security for himself and his boyfriend, Critter. When Jason's uncaring father passes away, the couple heads to the family home to collect Jason's inheritance. As Jason deals with family history and sibling rivalry, he waits to see if his inheritance is what he expected, or something different than he could ever imagine.
