Lisa Loomer brings satire and pathos back to the Mark Taper Forum with her award-winning play Expecting Isabel. Capturing both the pain and the absurd humor of the journey toward having a child, this comedy is about a thirty-something couple whose unwitting choice sets the previously blissful couple on a relentless search for help in procreation. What shines through in this delightful play is faith in love and the family unit.
