WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
This intimate and romantic musical comedy tells the story of a famous actor, an equally famous actress, and a playwright. The actor attempts to keep the romance kindled by posing as an admirer--a dashing guardsman, whom the actress welcomes, all to the delight of the playwright who is in need of a new script. Based on The Guardsman by Ferenc Molnar, Enter the Guardsman features a book by Scott Wentworth, music by Craig Bohmler, and lyrics by Marion Adler.
This production moves to the Solvang Festival Theatre from September 26-October 12.
