WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
A hit of the 2009 Polish International Theatre Festival, Dual Citizens comes to the Odyssey Theate Ensemble in it's American Premiere. Polish actress/puppeteer Anna Skubik takes on a life-sized Marlena Dietrich puppet, as both are caught in a co-dependent relationship during the star's dying days. Meanwhile her Bulgarian/American partner Anthony Nikolchev confronts his family's breathtaking 1960's escape from Communist Bulgaria.
