Lee Blessing's Down the Road is a thought provoking script which travels a dark and frightening road through the mind of a serial killer. The husband and wife team hired by a publisher to help the killer write an account of his crimes grow increasingly uncertain about the ethics of their work. Are they simply relating terrifying events, or encouraging readers to consume rape, murder and mutilation as common products of our society? Are these authors assisting the killer into celebrity? Is that, in fact, just what the killer wants? Fabio Serafini directs.
