Direct from Bahia in northern Brazil—a place where otherwise long forgotten gods are still remembered—comes this irresistible troupe famous for its explosive drumming, feverish dancing and uncontainable energy. Its display of Bahian folkloric dances of African origin was described as a "non-stop extravaganza" by the San Francisco Chronicle. Balé Folclórico da Bahia brings thrilling choreography, joyous rhythms, and a feisty, flirtatious exuberance to every performance.

She has received numerous awards for her choreography, including the prestigious National Award for Choreography, IIFA, and the American Choreography Award.

Behold, a variety show set in the raucous days of 1924 Berlin that is dedicated to presenting lively and inventive performances ranging from the absurd to the sublime! On any given night you might see burlesque, puppetry, clowns, mimes, dance troupes, solo character sketches, musical numbers, and a variety of acrobatic and other circus performers doing their thing. Hosts Gretel Heinz and Hermann Schnitzel do their best to keep the sense of the 1920s alive and roaring. The show's venue, the famous El Cid restaurant, adds to the atmosphere with its full bar, smoking patio, optional food menu, and reasonable prices — to say nothing of its beauty.
