WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Come home to LA for City of Angels, a spoof of the hard-boiled private eye movies of the '40s. This winner of 6 Tony Awards, including Best Musical of 1990, had Newsweek raving, "A Miracle! Smart, swingy, sexy, funny." The musical features a book by Larry Gelbart, music by Cy Coleman, lyrics by David Zippel, and vocal arrangements by Cy Coleman and Yaron Gershovsky. Joe Leonardo directs, with choreography by Kay Cole.
