Circus Welt

This a play that with timeless themes and yet very relevant to today. It is about the human condition and about how we all live with each other. It was funny and moving at the same time. The acting was great. No clownin!

I see a lot of theater in Los Angeles and it has been a long time since I saw a production as impressive and moving as "Circus Welt". The idea of clowns hiding from nazis sounded strange at first but the concept is rather brilliant once you see it come together on stage with wonderful, colorful performances and sharp, witty dialogue and a fast pace that makes the entire evening feel too short. What the show does brilliantly is mix history with entertainment. I found myself laughing, crying, scared and happy as I went on this unique journey with Circus Welt. I look forward to coming again and bringing my teenage sons as I think they will get so much out of it. It has been a week since I saw the show and Im STILL telling friends about it!

Pavel Cernys production of "Circus Welt" is compelling theatre. Tackling the Nazi era and putting an acerbic, funny take, this production kept me intrigued and entertained throughout - particularly the clowns! Check it out!

What a great and exciting production, great acting and energy, smart dialog, humor and drama all at the same time. It kept me on the edge of my seat throughout the entire performance. Worth every penny.....
