The Lillian Theater presents the west coast premiere of Chicken, written and performed by talented playwright Ashley Reed and produced by Academy Award nominated actor Bruce Dern. In this dramedy, Reed spills the dirt of the lives of a group of twenty-something friends searching for their souls by living thru the highs, lows, and buzzes of many kinds. Wendy Guerrero directs.

Throughout the course of the play, Reed bounces from one friend's experience of getting high to the next friend's hallucination. Reed's invigorating story invites us to us to peek though the keyhole of a New York City apartment and get a hilarious contact high from these going nowhere twenty-somethings. Then, watch the haze lift as desperation drives them to take on the biggest questions of their lives.
