WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
The timeless love story of Caesar and Cleopatra revolves around an aging ruler trying to cling to his youth and a young beautiful queen looking for guidance, love and a way to hold on to her country. Although the play is based loosely on events that occurred over 2000 years ago, it still has major relevance to the world we live in today. This wonderful comedy, which so charmingly addresses the clash between civilization and barbarism, reminds us that the world truly hasn't changed very much and that the struggle for a better humanity is always constant.
