Ballet Hispanico is widely recognized as one of the nation's most far-reaching Latino cultural institutions. Dedicated to exploring and preserving the passion and theatricality of Latino dance, Ballet Hispanico shares an evening that fuses ballet, modern and Latin dance forms into a spirited representation of contemporary Latino culture. Repertory includes Club Havana set to the intoxicating rhythms of the Conga, Rumba, Mambo and Cha Cha and audience favorite Ritmo y Ruido, an entertaining jazz piece by Tony award-winning choreographer Ann Reinking.
