Written by David H. Vowell, Acts of Passion is a world premiere engagement of three short plays. The Inheritance involves Tom, a dying man who succeeded with the work of his hands and daughter Penny, a banker. He has been embittered by his life and is somewhat mean. Penny will inherit more than his money. Planting Roses finds Doug, a retired man, taking steps to insure that his lesbian daughter, Jody, will not wind up being his nursemaid as he ages. Kiss the Moon concerns a wild woman, Randy, and the conservative son she bore. All three shows deal with the consequences of being loved.
