February is the month of love, and this show is the perfect valentine! This sweetly comic, charmingly romantic and touchingly poignant musical revue A Time for Love features Lois Robbins and Brian Sutherland as two characters who fall in love, come together, marry, and grow apart, only to rediscover each other under new circumstances. The story begins with the first instant a spark ignites and continues over a lifetime of working, raising children and trying to stay connected in a complicated modern world. Through the songs of Richard Maltby, Jr. and David Shire, we come to know these characters intimately, and to feel their longings, losses, and triumphs. This production is helmed by Richard Maltby, Jr. whose New York directing credits include Fosse, Song and Dance, Baby and Ain't Misbehavin'.
