Where did Halloween come from, the trick-or-treat event we celebrate today with candies and costumes, ghosts and goblins? Was it always a night about dressing up and carving pumpkins? When did it start? Samhain. Hollantide. Hallowmas. All Hallow's Eve. Halloween. Join renowned theatre artists Celeste Akiki, Melissa Gentry and Nima Ghassemian in a delightfully interactive musical comedy for kids ages 2 to 102 as you sing, dance, win prizes, and celebrate this joyous holiday in all its myriad incarnations. Written by Serena Dolinsky and Evelyn Rudie, original songs by Rudie and Matthew Wrather include finger-snapping, toe-tapping melodies that explore the delights and dilemmas of too many sweets, the wonders and woes of costume selection, and the fun and fantasy of masks, real and imagined.
