Performances of Peter Pan and Tinkerbell A Pirate Christmas begins tonight at Pasadena Playhouse.

Featuring music from Taylor Swift, the Bee Gees, and more, the holiday spectacular follows the beloved characters Peter Pan, Wendy, and Tinker Bell. The three embark on a swashbuckling adventure to thwart the pirates’ plan to capture Peter for Captain Hook’s Christmas present. The interactive show features comedy, magic, flying, singing, and dancing.

The show is directed by Bonnie Lythgoe and the book is by Kris Lythgoe of Lythgoe Family Productions, which is also responsible for the scenic and costume designs. Choreography is done by Spencer Liff, and Michael Orland serves as the musical director.

The cast features Sabrina Carpenter as Wendy, John O’Hurley as Captain Hook, Parvesh Cheena as Smee, Chrissie Fit as Tinker Bell, Kevin Quinn as Peter Pan, Nikki Soohoo as Tiger Lily, Corey Fogelmanis as John, and August Maturo as Michael.

"Once again, our partners have put together a sterling, exciting, and gifted cast to bring our very special holiday programming to our stage," said Pasadena Playhouse artistic director Sheldon Epps. "Panto at The Playhouse has become, in a very short time, an exciting holiday tradition at our theatre, which is much appreciated and celebrated by our community."

Performances will run through January 3.
