Murder for Two, presented by Geffen Playhouse begins its run at the Audrey Skirball Kenis Theater this evening. The comedic musical murder mystery starts with Officer Macus Moscowicz, who is desperate to prove that he can rise above his small-town policeman status and become a detective. His opportunity presents itself one night when famous author Arthur Whiney is killed during his surprise birthday party. With no other detectives around to handle the case, Marcus arrives at the scene with his silent partner, Lou. When he arrives he realizes everyone is a suspect. The show is played by only two actors, one as Marcus and the other as all the suspects, and they both play the piano.

The show is directed by Scott Schwartz and features a book and music by Joe Kinosian and book and lyrics be Kellen Blair. The original New York cast reunites for this performance with Jeff Blumenkrantz as The Suspects and Brett Ryback as Marcus.

Performances will run through July 5.
