The Hollywood Bowl has announced that Matthew Morrison has withdrawn from its upcoming one-night performance of Sondheim on Sondheim because of a scheduling conflict. The event, set to take place July 23 at 7:30pm, benefits the Los Angeles Philharmonic's flagship program, Youth Orchestra Los Angeles (YOLA), and other L.A. Phil educational initiatives.

The full cast will now feature Sarah Uriarte Berry (End of the Rainbow), Phillip Boykin (Sunday in the Park With George), Lewis Cleale (The Book of Mormon), Carmen Cusack (Bright Star), Claybourne Elder (Sunday in the Park With George), Jesse Tyler Ferguson (Modern Family, Fully Committed), Jonathan Groff (Hamilton), Ruthie Ann Miles (Sunday in the Park With George), Solea Pfeiffer (Hamilton tour), and Vanessa Williams (Ugly Betty, Into the Woods).

A musical revue of Stephen Sondheim's greatest compositions, the Hollywood Bowl's concert is directed by Sarna Lapine (Sunday in the Park With George). Gustavo Dudamel will conduct the L.A. Phil and YOLA, who will join the show to perform "Children Will Listen" alongside the orchestra. The production will be choreographed by Michele Lynch, with lighting design by Ken Billington, new orchestrations by Michael Starobin, arrangements by David Loud, and video created and designed by Peter Flaherty.
