James Corden to Host 59th Annual Grammy Awards

Broadway alum and current host of The Late Late Show James Corden has been tapped to host this year's 59th annual Grammy Awards, according to Variety. Corden heads to the Grammy's following his recent success as host of the 2016 Tony Awards. The yearly event is set to take place February 12.

In 2015, Corden took over The Late Late Show from previous host Craig Ferguson. He is best known to New York theatergoers for his Tony-winning performance in Richard Bean's One Man, Two Guvnors in 2012. He also performed in the 2004 Broadway cast of The History Boys and the film version of that play.

On-screen, Corden starred as the Baker in the Into the Woods film. He is a BAFTA winner for his work on his three-season BBC series Gavin & Stacey. He was honored with an OBE (Order of the British Empire) for his services to entertainment and charity by the Queen of England during the annual New Year's Honors in 2014.
