Broadway veterans James Corden (One Man, Two Guvnors) and Rose Byrne (You Can't Take It With You) are set to star in an upcoming film adaptation of Beatrix Potter's classic Peter Rabbit stories, according to Variety. The Sony film will be directed by Will Gluck.

Using a mix of live-action and animation, Peter Rabbit will follow the adventures of the wily Peter Rabbit himself and his nemesis Mr. McGregor. Corden will voice the animated rabbit, with Byrne taking on a live-action role.

James Corden is a Tony Award winner for his role in the 2012 play One Man, Two Govnors and also appeared on Broadway in The History Boys in 2006. Currently the host of CBS' The Late Late Show, Corden hosted the 2016 Tony Awards this June.

Rose Byrne is best known for her film work, including roles in Bridesmaids, X-Men: First Class, Neighbors, and more. In 2014, she made her Broadway debut as Alice in a revival of Moss Hart and George S. Kaufman's You Can't Take It With You.
