My Shot: Portraits from Hamilton, photographer Josh Lehrer's exhibition of portraits of the original Broadway cast of Lin-Manuel Miranda's musical, will make its Los Angeles debut August 15-19 at the Diane Rosenstein Gallery.

The exhibition is presented in conjunction with the Los Angeles premiere of Hamilton, which begins at the Hollywood Pantages Theatre on August 11. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights (CHIRLA), founded in 1986. Lehrer’s photographs of the company utilized antique cameras and lenses.

With book, music, and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda, direction by Thomas Kail, choreography by Andy Blankenbuehler, and music direction and orchestrations by Alex Lacamoire, Hamilton is based on Ron Chernow's biography of Founding Father Alexander Hamilton. The musical tells the story of Hamilton, an immigrant from the West Indies who became George Washington's right-hand man during the Revolutionary War, and was the new nation's first treasury secretary. The musical won 11 Tony Awards including Best Musical, Score, Book of a Musical, Direction of a Musical, Choreography, and Orchestrations.
