Disney has released cinema dates for a handful of upcoming films.

Frozen 2, a sequel to the Oscar-winning Frozen, will hit theaters on November 27, 2019, while the upcoming live-action remake of The Lion King will reach screens slightly earlier that year, on July 19.

The Lion King furthers Disney's slate of reimagined classics like Maleficent, Cinderella, The Jungle Book, and the recently released Beauty and the Beast. Frozen 2 is being developed by original codirectors Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck, along with Oscar-winning producer Peter Del Vecho, for Walt Disney Animation Studios.
