Brandy will likely be reprising her Broadway role as Chicago's Roxie Hart at Los Angeles' Hollywood Pantages Theatre this spring, according to the venue's website. The touring production's sit-down at the theater is set to run from April 26-May 1.

A Grammy Award winner, Brandy Norwood made her Broadway debut this year in an engagement in Chicago at the Ambassador Theatre from April 28-August 2 (garnering her a spot on our list of 2015's best Broadway debuts).

Featuring classic tunes by John Kander and Fred Ebb, Chicago tells the story of Roxie Hart, a nightclub dancer who murders her on-the-side lover after he threatens to walk out on her. Desperate to avoid conviction, she dupes the public, the media, and her rival cellmate, Velma Kelly, by hiring Chicago's slickest criminal lawyer to transform her crime into a barrage of sensational headlines.

Brandy's many hits include "I Wanna Be Down" and "The Boy Is Mine." As an actress, she starred in the sitcom Moesha and the Disney television film adaptation of Cinderella in the title role. She received a 2014 NAACP Image Award for her role as Chardonnay on BET's The Game.
