Road Theatre Company Announces Casting for The Water’s Edge, Finding Fossils

The Road Theatre Company has announced casting for Theresa Rebeck’s The Water’s Edge and Ty DeMartino’s Finding Fossils, which will play at the Lankershim Arts Center.

Sam Anderson will direct Rebeck’s work, which will play January 17-March 10, while Suzanne Hunt will direct DeMartino’s play, which will run January 25-March 25.

The Water’s Edge centers on a family coping with its grief. The company will include Lauren Birriel, Nicole Farmer, Stephanie Michels, Paris Perrault, Patrick Rieger and Albie Selznick.

Finding Fossils focuses on a man and the gay son from whom he’s estranged, who reuinite in the wake of the death of a family member. The cast will feature Mark Doerr, John Gowans and Mark Costello.

The creative teams for the shows will include scenic designer Desma Murphy and lighting designer Kathi Donohue for both productions, along with costume designer Jocelyn Hublau Parker and sound designer David B. Marling for Water’s Edge; and sound designer Christopher Moscatiello for Finding Fossils.
